Thanks for the exposure man.
I do have to say those rules are for the whole weekend but not for the TTC. The TTC has its own set of rule and you must register for that part of the weekend.
As well the poster does show a demo derby. But due to time restraints it will not be happening.
Here are the TTC rules etc.
TTC Rules
Scale shaft driven trucks only. (1/10th and 1/8th scale)
Tires/wheels
OEM tires (meaning any tire you can buy of the shelf up to 5.5'' tall)
No wheel restrictions.
Track width
No width restriction, but courses will be based around the 10.5 width. (something to keep in mind)
Wheel base
No wheel base restriction.
"Dig"
Your truck may have a dig setup, but it must not be used during the TTC.
Rear/4wheel steer
Allowed (possibly a good idea to have )
Axle mounted servos
Allowed ( due to 1/1 hydro steer units)
NO Axle mounted batteries
Must have a frame
Must extend to center of front and rear axle. (No crawler chassis)-CR-O1 the exception
Winches
HIGHLY recommended
If you do not have some sort of winch you may have a hard time getting threw some events.
Body
Must have min. Cab, and hood ( If no hood then a scale motor in proper location)
Wheel weights
No restriction.
Water proofing HIGHLY recommended!!
I say highly because there will be lots of mud and no alternate routes.
Events
Hill Climb
A steep curvy climb with loose dirt and deep holes.
Timed event.
Mud Pit
15' of the soupiest mud in Alberta.
Scored on distance and time.
Tow Test
Towing a weighted truck up a 16' incline.
Scored on distance and time.
Mini Rubicon
12' of piled rocks (big little and everything in between)
Timed event.
Obstacle Course
A little of everything. (tight turns, rocks, mud, hills etc..)
Timed event.
Frame Twister
A U shaped course that works both man and machine.
Work your way threw Big rocks, tight turns, mud, and of course the ''Log run''
Timed event.
The Tank Trap
The most grueling test of parts yet!
A steady incline of a trail with everything but the kitchen sink.
Trenches, mud, rocks etc.... Winching will be a must.
This is a timed/distance event. With points for this course being worth double every other event.
